On his 22nd birthday, David thinks back to a painful childhood memory. He tries again to look for a way out and to open up. However, Ego is convinced that only death offers an escape from the chaos of the room. By seeking support from his partner, friends and parents outside the mental room, David tries to express his feelings and acknowledge his past in the hope of escape.
